We had great fun celebrating World Book Day in school. Pupils dressed up as their favourite book characters and enjoyed sharing stories with one another. It was a wonderful day that encouraged a love of reading and brought lots of books to life!
Congratulations to our Senior room Cumann na mBunscol team on their fantastic success this year. Their hard work, teamwork and determination paid off as they were crowned champions in May 20206 We are very proud of their achievement and the way they represented our school throughout the competition.
2nd to 6th Class picked the best day of the year so far for their school trip! They enjoyed a range of activities, including kayaking and paddle boarding. Back on shore, there was plenty of laughter and competition during the beach games. The beautiful weather, excellent behaviour and smiling faces made it a day to remember for everyone involved. Just don’t ask Mrs Hunter about the weever fish!!
Emer, Karen and Mrs Hunter helped the children whip up our pancakes on Tuesday! Some delicious toppings were added and pancakes were wolfed down! Don’t ask about the fire alarm though!!

The senior room showed off their expertise at cross making and helped the Middle and Junior room too.

Our pupils enjoyed a fantastic Peace Proms rehearsal in the SSE Arena. We travelled as part of our Shared Learning with The Wood School and St. Riaghan’s. When there, we joined dozens of other schools from all over Ulster for the singing. A great day out that left all pupils very excited for the performance on the 1st March 2026.
