In Summer 25 the field development was in full flow. Our amazing Pedal for the Point fundraiser and the kind pledged Donation from the County Council Development Fund Initiative allowed us to push ahead with the work.

The Cycle raised a staggering €69,604.39 and local Co. Councillor Anthony Molloy pledged €10,000 in Council grants through the County Council Development Fund Initiative. This enabled work to begin and the first sod was turned by Fr. Aodhan on the 19th July.

Since then Derek, Ciaran and many parent volunteers have worked evenings and weekends to bring the project to life.
